First, take a check the screen in well condition or damaged some position already, once the screen damaged or broken in some position, the touch screen will lost function, then touch screen not working. Second, double check the cable of the touch screen is good condition or been damaged / cut, also check the connector which connect with maiboard tight enough or not, if the cabel had been damaged or cut already, and the connector of touch screen didn’t connect tight enough, the single of touch screen wouldn’t been transport to the HMI touch panel computer, finally the touch screen not working.
Third, confirm this touch screen using how long already, normally, a god and high quality of 4wire resistive touch screen with more then 1,000,000 time input and with more then 100,000 pen drawing using, 5wire resistive touch screen, with more then 15,000,000 time input and with more then 5,000,000 pen drawing using, 8wire resistive touch screen with more then 2,000,000 time input and with more then 200,000 pen drawing using. If the touch screen using more then 5-10 years, that means this touch screen would reach the max using life, just replace with the new touch screen.
Last, if the touch screen is new, just check if install in correct way, if had been installed in correct way but touch screen not working, contact with the seller to check if they had been tested before shipment.
